Why join TNS through SCNA?
Thank you for your interest in TNS, The Naturist Society Foundation.
Founded in 1980, The Naturist Society advocates for clothing-optional recreation opportunities on public lands and beaches. Through the Naturist Education Foundation, they do outreach to the general public on non-sexual nude recreation and the actual rules that pertain in shared spaces. The Naturist Action Committee is the government affairs arm of TNS, working to prevent legislation and enforcement that unnecessarily restricts public naturism.
TNS provides many benefits to members. It publishes, quarterly, one of the premier magazines of the naturist movement, Nude & Natural, also known as N. Your membership card enables you to receive discounted rates at many affiliated resorts. Members also get discounts on TNS merchendise at the Skinny Dipper Shop.
TNS also conducts regional events, called Gatherings, where naturists meet for fun and education on the state of naturism.
SCNA is proudly affiliated with this foundation and actively support its mission and activities. While not required, we strongly urge you to support their efforts to protect our privilege to enjoy nude recreation on public lands in this country. Joining TNS through SCNA helps to maintain our affiliation, allows us to request support for our own outreach and advocacy mission, and it increases our opportunities to provide input into TNS operations. In exchange we can offer to you a discount over the national direct membership rate.
TNS membership has a single rate per household. When joining through SCNA the rate is $55 per year. The magazine can be delivered by first-class mail for an extra fee.
How to join TNS through SCNA?
If you are a member of SCNA or a Friend of SCNA
you are eligible to join The Naturist Society Foundation through our club. To join you must complete the membership application and submit it, along with your initial dues payment, to the SCNA office.
Your application can be completed by downloading and printing the form, or by requesting one to be sent to you. Fill it out and return it by mail, or in person to an SCNA officer at a club event. Alternatively, you can scan and email the application and send the payment by our online payment process through Paypal. The application and payment can also be made using the forms below.
When we receive your application we will review it for completeness and accuracy and ensure that your SCNA membership is current. We will also verify that your payment is correct for the class of membership that you are requesting. If there is any additional information required, you will be contacted by telephone or email.
When all is in order your application and dues payment will be forwarded to TNS for processing. You will receive a reciept in the mail. You will then receive your permanent membership card directly from TNS.

All online SCNA transactions are handled through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use the service. They process all major credit cards. You will receive a confirmation email that the payment has been accepted. SCNA will respond to the order confirming receipt and requesting any additional information that may be required.
